Taking time for regular meditation and relaxation helps your body to regulate your nervous system, process previous experiences, and find a calm and steady way of being. When you feel relaxed your breath will deepen, your brain and body aligns… you become more aware, and more in control of your feelings.

Breathwork or bodywork may not be suitable for you if:

  • If you are pregnant (and in your first trimester) or trying to get pregnant then any breathwork/bodywork will not be appropriate for you at this time.
  • If you have a heart condition or high or low blood pressure that is uncontrolled by medication (and any condition relating to this e.g. glaucoma), then please gain advice from your GP before trying the guides. Some of the practices won't be appropriate for you.
  • If you have any injuries in the head, neck or torso area or any abdominal conditions then some of these practices could cause discomfort. Please listen to your body and take the practices gently
  • If you have a thyroid condition or diabetes that is uncontrolled by medication, you will require medical advice prior to engaging in breathwork.
